Do Product Videos Sell?

A few days ago I wrote about Squeeze Page Mastery and questioned whether audio or video increased the levels of sign-ups.

Film Reel Although the jury is still out (I do have my expectations however) I decided to give the new Pre SaleVideos offered by Todd Gross and Derrick Van Dyke a try. Although not strictly “squeeze page” videos you could create a page using them, they are really designed to”pre-sell” a particular product. I guess the name is a bit of a give away!

Initially you get 12 professionally produced videos, or rather you get a link already embedded with your own affiliate link, that talks about a top-selling online product – typically via ClickBank or via PayPal.

There is no need for a website or hosting – all you need to do is promote the link and anyone proceeding to purchase the product results in an affiliate sale. For example, THIS IS THE LINK to the video about the PreSaleVideos service.
BUT, you can also embed the videos in your own website and blog pages. For example I’ve added a video for a very, very low cost affiliate marketing product at Ultimate-Internet-Business. You’ll see the video starts automatically and the link then leads directly to the sales page. video

There’s a FREE 7 DAY trial and then a low ongoing monthly cost for using the service.

I’m really impressed, particularly as there will be 3-4 new videos added each month PLUS you get the chance to request a video is produced for your favourite product.

Camera I’ve been keen to add video to some of my sites for a while but without the equipment, technical know how and with a face that is better suited to radio I’ve resisted!

This is a great way to achieve my aim at what I think is a very low entry cost.

Online Video

Over the past month or so there seems to have been a rapid increase in the number of people extolling the virtues of using video in sales pages – “the way of the future” etc

I agree that video adds a degree of credibility and can bring a page to life bit is creating a quality video within reach of the average person?

Looking to create a new Squeeze Page for a product I am selling I took a look at a Squeeze Video containg professionally produced video and presented by a professional. I like the result.

Take a look at the page I created here Internet Autopilot and download the FREE Video Traffic Report.

I’ll be very interested in your thoughts – does video enhance or detract from your browsing experience? Does it add to the likelihood of a sign up on a squeeze page.

Look forward to hearing from you
